Hey guys, it's Jake here with the etrailer. today we have a 2016 Ford Explorer, and we're going to be doing a replacement air filter by Airways. Now this replacement air filter is going to be quite a bit larger than your factory air filter. A lot of people know them as cool air intakes, and that's exactly what it's designed to do. It's designed to take a high volume of air to condense it down and to cool it when it goes into your engine, therefore your engine is going to perform better. You're going to get better gas mileage, a little bit more torque, and a little bit more horsepower out of it. more

AIRAID CAD Air Intake System Installation - 2006 Ford F-150- Video
Today on our 2006 Ford F150 we'll be installing the Airaid Intake System, part number 401-140-2. Now to begin our installation underneath the hood here we'll need to disconnect the mass airflow sensor. We'll do this by sliding the red tab back and then simply removing the connector. We'll also need to slide the intake tube here on the other side off by moving the green clip and then pulling it off.We'll also need to disconnect the wiring harness from the air box in these two locations. We'll now take a 10mm deep socket and remove the four tower bolts, two on each side and also the one bolt holding the factory intake tube to the mounting bracket here. At this point we can go ahead and remove the entire factory intake system. more

AFE Direct Fit Cold Air Intake System Installation - 2002 Ford F-350 Super Duty- Video
Today on this 2002 Ford F-350 Super Duty, were going to install the AFE Direct Fit Cold Air system part number AFE51-10192. Our first step is going to be removing the negative battery cable on both sides. This particular application has two batteries. Im going to start with the passenger side. With the passenger side down well move over to the drivers side and repeat the same process. Now were going to go ahead and remove the cold air intake holes that connect to the air cleaner box. more
